Payment Flows by Tier

Every paid enrollment — whether by voucher or direct payment — is recorded as a PaymentTransaction for a full audit trail. Free courses enroll directly without a payment record.

Foundational

Perfect for individual instructors just getting started. Includes essential features to create and deliver courses.

Subscription: ZAR 499/month or ZAR 4,999/year, billed via PDF invoice with EFT details.
Voucher fees: 10% of course price, with a minimum floor of ZAR 8 per voucher. Pay at creation time via EFT.
Manual EFT: students can pay you directly via EFT, upload proof of payment, and an admin confirms enrollment.
Bulk vouchers: purchase N vouchers in a single EFT and dispense them from your inventory as needed.
Free courses: up to 3 free courses alongside paid ones.
Reminders: automated emails on due date, 3 days overdue, 6 days overdue, and before suspension.

Enhanced

For growing instructors who need more capacity and advanced features. Includes video hosting and live sessions.

Subscription: ZAR 999/month or ZAR 9,999/year, billed via PDF invoice with EFT details.
Voucher fees: 8% of course price, with a minimum floor of ZAR 8 per voucher. Pay at creation time via EFT.
Manual EFT: students can pay you directly via EFT, upload proof of payment, and an admin confirms enrollment.
Bulk vouchers: purchase N vouchers in a single EFT and dispense them from your inventory as needed.
Free courses: up to 5 free courses alongside paid ones.

For organisations and institutions requiring unlimited capacity, white-label branding, and dedicated support.

Subscription: ZAR 5,999/month or ZAR 70,999/year, billed via PDF invoice with EFT details.
Voucher fees: 5% of course price, with a minimum floor of ZAR 8 per voucher. Pay at creation time via EFT.

How Voucher Fees Are Calculated

When you create a voucher for a paid course, the platform fee is:


                            voucher_fee = max(course_price × commission_rate, minimum_voucher_fee)

The commission rate and minimum floor vary by plan tier (see the table above). This aligns the voucher fee with what the platform would have earned through direct payment commission, and the minimum floor prevents low-price abuse.
